A beer brewed with 100-year-old famous water that can
only be found here
TAKASHIMA BREWERY is a small brewery that uses the bounty of the
Takashima earth, the mountains, Lake Biwa, and the abundant spring
water of Harie.
We brew beer with a soft, rich flavor using the pure water
of this spring water village.
Harie Shouzu no Sato is a village where pure spring water, known
as "Shozu,” flows abundantly and where the people live in
harmony with water. In this area, where clear spring water
flows and views of lush woodlands and Lake Biwa spread out, you
can enjoy nature in all four seasons.
Unique water culture「Kabata」
This area has a unique water culture called "Kabata” where
spring water is utilized in daily life. The wisdom of
living in harmony with nature has been passed down by not only
using the water for daily life, but also keeping fish and
purifying the water while circulating it.

National Road No. 1 → National Road No. 161 and go north, Turn
off at “Shin Asahi Ramp” and go north for 700m (about

Take the side road from Route 161 and make a U-turn at Cosmo
Oil.

Car pick-up is available, but must be reserved in advance by phone.
We do not accept applications by e-mail or other means other
than by phone, or applications made on the day of the tour.

pick-up service during busy times or for other reasons.
*Transportation to and from locations other than Shin-Asahi
Station is available for a fee, regardless of distance.
*Basically during dinner service (17:00 - 20:00), Breakfast
and check-out time (7:00 - 10:00) and after 20:00 are
not available.
*On weekdays, we often cannot accept requests for
transportation, so we recommend that you use a cab or other
means of transportation.
